Criminal Record Checks and Intervention Record Checks

Albertan Participants

1. RCMP or Police Consent for Disclosure of Criminal Record Information (Cleared for work with Vulnerable People) done through local Police detachment. (Note:  The detachment may waive the fee for volunteers if presented with a volunteer letter.
2. Completion of the Intervention Records Check from Alberta Child Services. 

Non-Albertan / Canadian Participants

1. RCMP or Police Consent for Disclosure of Criminal Record Information (Cleared for work with Vulnerable People) done through local Police detachment. (Note:  The detachment may waive the fee for volunteers if presented with a volunteer letter.

US and Oversees Participant

1. Letter of Recommendation from Parish Priest (in lieu of interview process)
2. Certificate of Completion of Volunteer Training, specific to individuals working with vulnerable minors.
